Tiahrt statement on the life of Charlton Heston

WASHINGTON – U.S. Rep. Todd Tiahrt (R-Goddard) today issued the following statement following the announcement that Charlton Heston had passed away at the age of 84.

"Charlton Heston was a great man of talent, vision and purpose," said Tiahrt. "He cared deeply for his country. And he revered the strength of our Constitution and the freedoms it protects.

"As an actor we enjoyed him. As a patriot we admired him. Charlton Heston will be missed."
